Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this Embassy Suites. The rooms, while nice and quiet, were dated and lacking a window in the living room, which was a downside. The service was friendly but needs updating. The location, though not as convenient as other Embassy Suites, had some perks like proximity to restaurants and golf. The dining was just okay, starting early on Saturdays and offering made-to-order omelettes. Overall, it was an average stay with both positive and negative aspects.
I immediately noticed a slight cigarette odor in our room, even though they claim to be non-smoking. The flashing red lights and high-frequency sound were a bit off-putting, reminding me of a motel 6 setup with exterior walkways to each room. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was decent, making it a reasonable choice for a stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable but a little tired, and the hotel didn't block sound very well. On the upside, the rooms were clean and well-kept. The service was hit and miss; while some staff members were exceptional, others were overwhelmed, rude, and not helpful. The location was convenient with ample parking, but the quality of guest rooms was poor and in need of renovations. The dining options ended too early, but the breakfast offered every possible option. Facilities were decent, with a fitness center available.
The hotel was a bit of a mixed bag for me. While the room needed some help and housekeeping was spotty, the location was very convenient to central Palm Desert and there were plenty of shopping and entertainment options accessible. The dining experience had its highlights with amazing made-to-order omelets but was let down by an early closure each day. Service was hit and miss as housekeeping and other services were helpful and accommodating, yet there were some outdated facilities and a musty smell lingering around.
